Boys Volleyball
Mission Hills (#10 seed) upset Eastlake (#7 seed) in
the first round of Division 1 volleyball playoffs tonight in a thrilling
5 game match! (25-23, 23-25, 19-25, 25-23, 15-12)
The match lasted over 2 hours, and our kids played
amazing! This is the first time we have advanced in Division 1 (We made
it to the quarterfinals last year in Division 2)
Devin Coley led us with 17 kills, along with Dylan
Thompson who had the first double-double of the season for our team (17
kills and 13 digs) Justin Manweller also had 8 kills, and Billy Brown
had 6. Brendon Arce led us with assists (43), Justin Boyd with 3 blocks,
and Dominick Gorum with 20 digs.
Baseball
Varsity Baseball beat San Marcos yesterday 7-6. Cody
Lenahan hit a grand slam home run, Aaron Salas homered to lead off the
game and Jon Putnam picked up the save with two strike outs to end the
game with the tying and go ahead runs in scoring position.

the state) he is choosing to compete at the Escondido Invitational
Friday against Juniors and Seniors instead to get better competition

(Kiel Robinson qualified in both hurdle races but has suffered a season ending hip injury)
