Peaceful Action Leaders @ SEMS (PALS)

San Elijo Middle School (SEMS) is committed to providing the safest, most positive middle school experience possible.  To be proactive in preventing the types of bullying that have been reported across the country, SEMS introduced a school-wide Peaceful Action Leaders @ SEMS (PALS) in 2011-12 to help educate students, and promote a more positive school culture.  We welcome parent involvement in making this program successful as we work together to keep students safe and allow them to learn in the most positive environment we can create.  Please note the following events:

Parent Information Night will be March 23 in the PAC from 5:30pm-7:00pm
We strongly advise leaving younger children at home.

We will host a Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, March 23, from 5:30pm-7:00pm to discuss how we as a community can better work together to meet our goal of every student feeling safe, loved, and cared for at school or anywhere else.  During that forum I will summarize what we have been receiving from students regarding other students’ behavior, what we have in place to help correct this mean behavior, and where we need the help of the community to really make a positive impact.
