• collect cans and non parishable foods for the food drive for the troops
• write letters to the troops
• collect blankets and toys for the animal shelter

What is Carrillo Kids Care?

Kindness: We will focus on acts of kindness to others through the collection of items/money, creating gifts, sharing our message

Involved: All Carrillo students are invited to participate by joining the afterschool club and by donating needed items/money.

Dedicated: We will sponsor a child in a monthly project and meet every other month to sponsor a community service need.

 

Service: Service to others brings great rewards to self!

Community: We will help those in our local communities of Carlsbad, Vista,

and San Marcos.

Active: Students will make cards, posters, skits and food to share our message with the school. We will distribute items too!

Resourceful: This program lays the foundation of community service, which prepares students for high school service requirements.

Enthusiastic: We are a group of Carrillo staff and students who want to make a difference in the lives of others!
